　　Tommy: How are you, Mrs. White?

　　Mrs. White: Oh, I've got a problem and need Mr. Smith's help. Is he in?

　　提示：询问某人是否在家时，我们用介词in。

　　Tommy: Yes, he is. Hold on.

　　Mrs. White: Ok, thank you.

　　提示：Hold on = 请稍等。

　　Tommy: Daddy, it's for you.

　　Mr. Smith: Thanks, I'll get it.

　　提示：

　　* 如果是别人的电话，那就得告诉他It's for you. (这是你的电话。)

　　I'll get it. = I will answer it. （我来接。）

　　* 如果Mr. Smith不在家，Tommy应该回答：He is not in. Can I take a message? （他不在，请问你要留言吗？）

　　* 如果Mr. Smith正在接别的电话，Tommy则应该回答：He is on the phone. (他正在接电话。)
